After a 15 year radio career as an announcer in Monterey, Los Angeles and San Francisco California, I felt something was missing in what I was doing. I recognized that my life was (and still is) a constant journey in 'search' of inner peace. I have come to realize finally, that you do not 'find' inner peace, you CREATE inner peace each day, or not.

In my undergraduate studies, I became fascinated with psychology, while I was studying theatre, and found the subject of what makes a person think and say and behave as they do, quite helpful. I decided I'd follow that psychology path in University. I finished my Master's degree in 1992, receiving an MA in Psychology specializing in Marriage and Family counselling. I became a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in the state of California in 1996, and have been working in that field since.

In 2004 I relocated to the Vancouver area of British Columbia. I am now a 'permanent resident', and am a registered therapist with the British Columbia Association of Marriage and Family therapists.
